Mark Bontrager is currently the executive director of Aldea Children & Family Services in Napa. Aldea is the largest mental health and child welfare provider in the Napa Valley. Mark obtained his Masters degree in social work and his law degree from Indiana University. He has practiced in the field of mental health and social work for more than fifteen years. His law practice focused primarily in the areas of adoption, child welfare and special education law. He has authored numerous articles on such topics as attachment and bonding, and legal issues surrounding children in foster care. He has also co-authored two books on adoption.
