CHI~4th Annual Benefit Reception
Congressman Mike Thompson to speak at event to raise funds for children’s healthcare coverage. NAPA, CA – The Children's Health Initiative (CHI) Napa County, a local public-private partnership dedicated to 100% healthcare coverage for Napa County children, invites the public to join healthcare providers, businesses, families, and community leaders for CHI’s 4th Annual Benefit Reception, to be held on November 13, 2009 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Cakebread Cellars. Proceeds from the event will go towards funding healthcare coverage for children of families in need.
Napa County Supervisor Bill Dodd will serve as Master of Ceremonies for the event. Dodd has been a stalwart supporter of healthcare coverage for children. He has been actively involved with CHI since its inception in November 2005 and is a strong proponent of the CHI public/private partnership model as a means of achieving and sustaining children’s healthcare coverage for low-income families.
The Benefit Reception will provide delicious hors d’oeuvres, exclusive wines donated by generous vintners, and live music. A live and silent auction will feature eclectic wine lots and artisan packages. The event offers the opportunity for community celebration, recognizing the progress being made to achieve 100% coverage for all Napa County children.
